Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss.  Actually, his birthday was yesterday.. but my children will be celebrating at school today…. so we are celebrating at home too…

Anyone for some Green Eggs and Ham??

Our early morning activities included watching ‘The Cat in the Hat’, and a quickie reading or two of ‘One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish’,  and ‘Green Eggs and Ham’.

Not as many Finished Objects from this past week…

I finally got sock #2 done from the big girls pair…

and, shockingly, they actually fit me (almost)

I knit a DW dishcloth from the yarn Holly sent me a few weeks ago (actually that one has been getting knit over the last few weeks)..

I finally felted the bag for my name twin sis-in-law…  which will go in the mail today or tomorrow..

and the cutest knit was this bunny hat… it’s for my Big Guy’s cousin’s baby born last week!  Totally cute.. I still have to attach the ears and seam, but it will be a quick finish job and that can go in the mail tomorrow too…

The bunny hat was knit with Debbie Bliss Cashmerino DK, in pink, and scrap white cashmere blend for the ears, Clover US9 circs and DPNs.

Ok I can’t figure it out what is inside the Jello to make it look like an egg, that is just too cute?

The socks look good, and I am positive you can follow a pattern other then stockinette, the hardest part is the heel and the gusset and those are usually the same no matter what. I say GO FOR IT.

The bunny hat is great too. I need to go check out that ETSY store… oh and I will be emailing you soon about my contest and possibly using a set of your stitch markers as the prize one week.
