The results are in…

June 16, 2008

My MRI Results came back.  NO TEAR.. yay!  Though… it just means REST REST REST for the thickened/enflamed Plantar Fascia… sadness.   Looks like pool running for me.. probably for most of the summer which is so terribly sad… but at least there isn’t something really bad going on.

I know I’ve been quiet here lately… we made it through the last week of school, and their home lessons began this morning.  Short and sweet to ease them into it… but good to be in a routine.
The 3 Littles have requested COOKING LESSONS for the summer.  So today we’ll begin that too… it will surely provide fabulous blog photo opportunities.  Today we’ll do measuring… the proper way to measure dry and wet ingredients 🙂  Fun fun (mess mess)…;-)
The littlest girl attended her first birthday party this weekend.  A little friend of hers turned 3 and had a princess party.  The little girl was instructed to dress as a princess for the party.. so of course she jumped at that chance…  Could I convince her to wear the coordinated Cinderella shoes??? NOPE… especially after she saw the purple dress up shoes in the dress up box! 😉

She had a ton of fun… got to do the Limbo, loved doing the Pinata and had a regular old princess’y time! 🙂

At the party dear hubster dropped the camera and it is currently non-functioning.. grrr.. so I will be digging out the dinosaur (not that it takes bad pics or anything)… and using that until we figure out what’s up with the newer one…

I hope all of your hubby’s/father’s had a great father’s day.  We chose to spend ours relaxing by the pool… it was fantastic!

In knitting news.. I’m suffering from Startitis so bad…  I cast on the February Sweater (ravelry link here), and have the unfinished Spring Forward (nearly done with the first sock), a grocery bag, and the Hemlock Ring blanket and a few other non-finished items that do have due dates 😉  The insanknitty of it all! 😉

Photos will be coming whenever I find the old camera 😉

Look at that sweet child. Glad you had a good weekend and I was just about to pick up my phone and check your results of the foot. I will give you a ring later on the way home from school.

Oh, your little princess is beautiful!

So glad that you don’t have a tear – now, just listen to that doc so you can be running again sometime soon.

Good news about your foot, it’s hard to be patient but surgery is worse than rest. Love the purple shoes!

That is good news, and most people would be happy to have to trot around *IN* the backyard pool all summer rather than pounding the pavement! 😉

    Love the wee purple princess.

I agree with Chan, who needs the hot asphalt when you have a cool pool.

    What a beautiful little princess.
