I have to tell you what a fabo idea that is! I will definately have to make one (or2) for walking my dogs this time of year! Awesome! I’ve thought about trying to make something like this for awhile! Now I don’t have to!!
Congrats on the publication! What a wonderful idea!
I wanted to report that I have knit up one Ruffles and Ridges shawl and plan to make another one asap—pictures coming as soon as I can get Melissa to take them. Thanks for enabling me!
Congrats on a stunning design. We are thinking of moving to a colder climate and since I won’t be leaving the dogs behind I’ll definately need to make one! You rock.
Way to go on finishing the sock - now onto the second one. g
i saw your pattern at knitty and had to stop by to say what a clever idea that is, and how darling your Murphy is. i have 3 dogs, the newest to the pack is an almost-5months old border collie; our first. she’s something else. can’t wait to look through your blog for knitting and bc stories.

I totally could have used one of those this past winter when I was out walking the dog! Big snow gloves don’t work well with leash handles.
Well done!

What an ingenious idea. My hands will no longer freeze while walking my dogs and holding their retractable leash.
